1. Educational Training Only

Nurturing Voices trainings are educational resources designed to support learning, awareness, professional development, and program improvement.

2. Certificates

Certificates issued by Nurturing Voices confirm participation, attendance, or completion of a specific educational activity.

Certificates do not guarantee:

Professional competency
Licensure
Certification by a government agency
Compliance with federal or state law
Compliance with Head Start requirements
Employment qualification
Monitoring success
Approval by licensing authorities
Ability to perform medical or emergency procedures


3. Employer Responsibility

Employers and programs are responsible for determining whether a training satisfies their internal, state, federal, tribal, licensing, or grant-related requirements.

Programs are also responsible for verifying staff competency, maintaining documentation, and providing any required hands-on practice, observation, or skills validation.

4. Quiz Review

Quiz answers may be emailed to Nurturing Voices for manual review. Passing a quiz does not guarantee competency or readiness to perform a task.

5. Health and Safety Topics

Trainings related to medication administration, insulin, allergies, CPR, first aid, safe sleep, infection control, child abuse reporting, emergency care, hazardous materials, transportation safety, or other safety-sensitive topics require additional program-specific review and may require hands-on training or certification.

6. Compliance Guidance

Training materials may discuss Head Start compliance concepts. However, Nurturing Voices does not guarantee that use of the materials will result in compliance, prevent findings, satisfy monitoring requirements, or meet every applicable requirement.
